Blast From The Past
Can't believe it has been 2 years since the birth of our Jacee.....she has brought us such joy.
Happy Birthday - Little Ms Sunshine Turns 2 July 2008
Jacee turned 2 years old July 26. We celebrated her birthday with our families at our house on a warm Sunday afternoon. People say that when you are that young you really don't know what is going on in terms of parties..well with Jacee I'm suprised at myself for even saying that was not the case with her. She knew who everyone was at our house and she knew they were there for her.....she loved every minute of it. It was a great day in the Baumann household.
What is old and what is new? Jacee is still at daycare with Karen who continues to doll her up every day (and having fun with her friends there). Cory and I are able to have conversations with Jacee to a certain extent with is pretty amazing...she talks a lot. Since last Saturday, she is now holding her nose, holding her breath under the water, kicking in the pool....she is not swimming on her own but certainly in the early stages and on her way. Boy has that put a smile on our faces...Jacee keeps saying "I'm swimming...I'm swimming". It's such a great feeling to see your child just grow into an amazing being. Little Ms Jacee can sometimes act up though..don't let these pictures fool you. If you look at the picture of her pouting in the pink/redish outfit you'll see a pink ladybug chair to the left. That is her timeout chair and yes Ms Jacee will actually put herself in timeout. We get a kick out of it...can't help but giggle when she proceeds to run to her chair, frowning and crying.
