It's been awhile since we have updated sweet Jacee's Blog. Lots of new things happening with little one. She is POTTY TRAINED (well 95% there)....it is true when people say that you can't push a child too hard because they will go when they are ready. That is what happened with Jacee. She is proud of her poo poo and potty in the toilet (chocolate helps). I must admit it is a relief to not deal with the diapers. Jacee is still at home daycare with Karen (she has been with her since she was 6 months old) and will be starting preschool in the fall. We are having full conversations with her everyday and she says the funniest things...it is quite interesting to see how young children process and then output their thoughts. Jacee started swim lessons a few weeks ago and is doing great - floating, going under the water, holding her breath. We are hoping to have her swimming and pool safe by the end of the summer. Sometimes Jacee throws her usual tantrums but that really is not part of her core being. Deep inside I think she really wants to be happy and chooses to be a "good girl"...I think that she is realizing that "being a good girl" is going to take her farther in life. Cory has been working close to home lately so it's been nice for Jacee and Daddy to be able to bond. Anyways, life's good and all is well. Still enjoying our little one to death.
